Dr. Prashant Rao

Prashant Rao, DDS is a Charlotte native. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC Chapel Hill before graduating from New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Rao continued his education after graduating from dental school by attending Long Island College Hospital, Brooklyn, NY, for a year-long GPR. He continued his studies in esthetics, Dental Implants, Endodontics and Orthodontics. Dr. Rao also keeps up to date with the latest advances in dental technology.

He is a proud member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and South Charlotte Study Club.

Dr. Rao has been a member of ICOI for over a decade and completed a continuing education program in Raleigh, NC offered by the Triangle Dental Institute. Dr. Rao has received a fellowship in Implantology, and has joined the prestigious ICOI club (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Cedar Walk Family and Cosmetic Dentistry offers a wide range of services including preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry, such as fillings, exams, Invisalign and dental implants.
