Prashant R. Rao, DDS was born and raised in Charlotte. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science in Psychology before graduating from New York University College of Dentistry. After Dental School, Dr. Rao furthered his education by attending Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn, NY for a one year GPR.

He has continued to study esthetics, implants, endodontics, and limited orthodontics.

In addition, Dr. Rao is continually up-to-date in the latest dental technology and advances. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and South Charlotte Study Club.

Dr. Yelena Brikina, DDS graduated from SUNY Stony Brook with a BS in biochemistry, and went on to earn her DDS degree from the SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She furthered her education with a General Practice Residency at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn Heights, and also received certification in Invisalign (clear braces), as well as attended seminars on Implants, Occlusion and Esthetics. Dr. Brikina provides a full range of dental services encompassing prevention, restorative, orthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Brikina incorporates cutting edge dental technology in her practice, and is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association, and South Charlotte Study Club. She takes personal pride in providing courteous and high quality professional treatment for all of her patients’ dental care needs. She is also fluent in Russian.

Lived in the Charlotte area since 1988 after having lived all over the United States during her childhood, including Washington State, Texas, Utah and California. She received her diploma in Dental Assisting in 1996. She has been married since 1995 and has three children, two girls and a boy. Outside of work she enjoys camping, white water rafting, skiing and scrapbooking. Since Christy’s mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 at age 47 she has been highly involved in raising money and participating in the yearly Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Charlotte and Winston-Salem. We love having her as part of the team!

Grew up living on Lake Norman here in Charlotte. Attended East Carolina University where she studied Health Information Management. While in college Jenn volunteered with the Habit for Humanity, along with volunteering at the local children’s hospital. She also completed the Dentist Assisting Program in 2009. Jenn has a precious Yorkie-Poo puppy named Captain. In her spare time she enjoys going to Panther football games, running, and spending time with her family and friends. She is fun to be around and a joy to have as a part of our team!

Born and raised in South Florida and has been in the Charlotte area for the last two years. While living in Florida, she volunteered at the local hospital. She attended a Dental Assisting program, finishing in 2009. Recently married and a proud mommy of two adorable puppies. She enjoys traveling, sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. She is a great member of our team.

Born and raised in Charlotte. Amanda is married with step daughters and one son. She attended the College of Charleston in South Carolina. When Amanda moved home she attended York Technical College in Rock Hill, and completed her dental hygiene program. On her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and reading. She is a great addition to our team and we love having her here.
